the picture is a little fuzzy because i took it myself and couldnt make camera focus that close to my forehead. but anyway, its my ashes for ash wednesday, first day of lent…gave up sweets and im going to try to cut down on my cussing…we’ll see how well it goes

as someone who is used to celebrating mardi gras, i had NO idea that today was also pancake day for most of the rest of the world, lol 🙂 so james and i went to ihop tonight to have pancakes as a pre-lent splurge! 🙂 we both have a thing for pancakes!
oh, and ignore the date on the bottom of the picture…my camera has been doing weird things lately 🙁

james made dinner for us before we went to the movies to see the Valentine’s day movie. we ended up not being able to see the movie at the time we were supposed to, so we went downtown to get cheesecake 🙂 fabulous meal, fantastic cheesecake, cute movie, and wonderful company for the day! oh, and i got a turtle pandora, new shoes and cant forget gum! he knows me sooo well, lol 🙂

after lunch, we walked down to get coffee and saw a set of butterflies on a fence we passed. thought they were cute, so took a pic 🙂 there were a couple other types, but liked the colors on this one the best.

my new boxing equipment! bag gloves, jump rope, and hand wraps. woot woot! been sore sore sore since i started yesterday, but in a good way. looking forward to learning more!

had my first boxing lesson today. i decided i wanted to give it a try, and will prolly sign up to continue 🙂 immma be sooooo sore tomorrow!!!! but i need the upper body work!

while memphis isnt hell, it is definitely frozen over! 🙂 the saints win the super bowl and it snows the next day…coincidence, maybe or maybe now 🙂 regarless, we got the day off because of it so woowoo!
