James and I had our first experience with Indian food today at India Palace. The food was good…we had Sag Lamb and Sag Chicken which is lamb and chicken cooked with some sort of creamed spinach. The elephant above is painted on the wall inside the restaurant. Pretty neat, huh? will post the rest of the pics from india palace later 🙂

My friend/coworker and his wife are pregnant with their second child (well his wife is pregnant, but ya know what i mean…). After complications with previous pregnancies, they were nervous about the doctors appointment scheduled yesterday – the first time a heartbeat could be heard. Mid morning i received a VERY excited text message with “160 beats per minute” which fantastic and totally exciting news!!!! He later came into work with a copy of the first ultrasound, which is now on display in his work area! 🙂 Since Fridays are “casual dress” days at work (which for us is jeans, tennis shoes and t-shirts), my friend/coworker decided to honor the wonderful news of yesterday by wearing a Super Mario 1UP mushroom shirt. I thought that was the sweetest thing, so the two pictures of the day are of his 1UP shirt and his 1UP shirt with the picture of the ultrasound! His family’s gunna be 1 UP’d! woowoo!
