Every evening at work, the cleaning crew comes in and empties garbage, vacuums, and does various other cleaning tasks. The first time i worked a little late, i remember thinking “why is there a swimming pool in the hall by the elevator.” One of my coworkers explained it was for the cleaning crew to put the trash bags in so they wouldnt leak everywhere.. The swimming pool doesnt look very nice in the hall, but its a super smart idea!

I went to eat pizza with James this afternoon (cause what better way to start the new year than with pizza?). As we were eating two fire trucks pulled up outside and firemen went into the building across the street….i just had to take a picture because thought it was funny that it was only the first day of january and already had fire trucks around me 🙂

well, going to try this picture-a-day thing again this year 🙂 really enjoy having the whole year documented in pictures, but have fallen short on posting the last few years 🙁 hopefully this year will go better!
